As the grandson of Kikuterudoi and son of Kikunoridoi, this bulls is considered to be one of the highest marbling Bulls in Japanese Wagyu Beef history. He was bred in Hyogo Prefecture, which is home to Japanese Kobe beef. The sire of Kikuyasu – 400 sired the Grand Champion Group, which was 4 carcasses and also Grand Japan Champion in Japan’s National Carcass Competition. Kikuasu – 400 is the heaviest and largest bulls to leave Japan at 1,980 lbs. He sired a cow, Kinu T077, which have all graded at BMS +9, and her dam was considered best in foundation stock for breeding. Kikuyasu – 400 semen is used to improve the size of offspring and increase the ribeye size. Semen is becoming rare, and only 484 progenies were registered in May 2019.
